Today’s review is of a weight loss diet pill that claims much, but fails to describe what the heck it truly is or does. On the one hand, it’s a fat burner and, on the other hand it’s an appetite suppressant and energy pill all in one huge enormous horse pill. Sound appetizing, doesn’t it?
Plus, the name is interesting and silly all at the same time: Clinicallix.
From the Clinicallix website:
Clinicallix includes breakthroughs in weight loss technology to ensure that you lose weight with the strongest clinically proven ingredients. These ingredients have been scientifically proven to produce the maximum weight loss in the shortest amount of time.
The statement above is a perfect marketing pitch that actually doesn’t tell you anything. The statement above is akin to the following:
We need to defend our market space and make sure that all stakeholders are on the same page during the 3PM stand-up brainstorming whistle stop tour
Did you understand that? I didn’t think so. Marketing spin for weight loss pills is normal and Clinicallix is no different.
Well, since we don’t know what it actually does, here are the ingredients, according to the website:
- 750mg Guarana
- 400mg Yerba Mate
- 200mg Damiana
- 1000mg Glucomannan
- 1500mg Garcinia Cambogia
- 75mg Gymnema Sylvestre
- 250mcg Chromium Polynicotinate
Okay, while the names might be interesting, they, again, don’t tell us anything.
Claims
So what does the company claim the results are?
- Lost 11.2 pounds after 45 days:
In full drama:
In a placebo controlled, double blind trial in Charlottenlund Medical Center in Denmark, 44 overweight subjects were split into two groups and examined. One group was administered a compound containing Yerbe Mate, Guarana, and Damiana and the other group was administered a placebo. Both groups were observed before and after being administered their compounds after 45 days. The group administered the Guarana, Yerba Mate, and Damiana showed significant weight loss. In fact, those taking the herbal combination lost an average of 11.2 pounds after 45 days while those that were on the placebo lost 0.7 pounds. Yerba Mate, Guarana, and Damiana was also proven to show significant delayed gastric emptying and reduced time of perceived gastric fullness. An ultrasound scan on subjects confirmed the delayed rate at which the stomach emptied by an average of 20 minutes without disturbing the normal digestive processes.
More drama,
An eight-week double-blind trial was conducted to test the effectiveness of Glucomannan fiber with 20 obese subjects. They were administered Glucomannan one hour prior to each meal for 2 months (versus a placebo) and asked not to change anything in their diet or exercise. Subjects administered Glucomannan showed a significant increase in weight loss. An average subject lost 5.5 lbs with Glucomanna. There was also significant drop in LDL cholesterol (15-20mg/dl) when compared with the placebo group.
More drama, unsubstantiated claims, and 50 obese women,
In a randomized double blind clinical trial of 50 obese women, subjects were split into two groups. One group was administered Garcinia Cambogia, Gymnema Sylvestre and Chromium for a period of 8 weeks while the other group was administered a placebo. Those administered Compound of Garcinia Cambogia, Chromium, and Gymnema Sylvestre experienced a reduction in body weight of 14.99 pounds. In contrast, the Placebo Group experienced reduction of only 3 pounds in body weight. Patients in the study not only experienced significant weight loss, but experienced increased fat burning, lowered cholesterol, increased beneficial HDL cholesterol and decreased Body Mass Index (BMI), which is an indicator of obesity health risk.
Around the Web
So what are people saying about Clinicallix?
Pretty sure its a scam. Took them for about 7 days. According to their site I should have lost 7 pounds (unlikely anyway). I Felt nothing, lost nothing. Stopped taking them”. – Steve
Lost 2 Pounds,
My statistics: Female,40 yrs, 8 hr a day desk job, starting weight 1st day of taking one dose (3pills for me) pills was 196, by the next morning I weighed in at 194, on day 3(2nd day starting full dose-3 pills 3X per day) I weighed 192.2. I try to do 100 ab crunches on my Ab Zone chair a day but don’t alays get them in. The only other exercise I get other than housework is walking down 4 flights of stairs 3X a day 5 days a week and up 2 flights 4-5 X per week. Thats it. So far I have had no problems with stomach upset, jitters, or headaches. I do eat pretty much 90% organic and eat very healthy about 95% of the time.
Possible side-effects,
I read that clinicallix also has caffeine content and the side effects are the most common like nausea, vomiting, increased heart rate, severe headache, tremors, and diarrhea.
Horse Pills,
I don’t think that there is good in taking fat burners. And I think with the side effects being mentioned, Alli is even better than Clinicallix. It’s actually a big pill with 4000mg of ingredients in it. One bottle is good for a month supply and it contains 300 pills. That means that you will be taking 10 huge pills a day. I don’t think I’m into that. That is just too much. I don’t like taking medication and I definitely couldn’t get it in my body if a pill contains 4000mg of ingredients!
Too Many Pills in my body,
I didn’t know that the pills are that huge. I don’t think I can get through that either. 4000mg of ingredients are too much and I don’t want that in my body especially if I have to take in 10 of those in one day. I cannot imagine taking 40,000mg of weight loss ingredients The side effects are no joke and I think that people should be careful and consult their doctors first before deciding to use this supplement as weight loss. There maybe ingredients that is not good for the health and ingredients that can cause allergic reaction.
So, you decide. For me, I don’t recommend Clinicallix. Any product with that much marketing spin tells me that they’re hiding an ineffective product behind bells and whistles.

Clinicallix gave mild diarhhea and I hate the product.
Clinicallix gave serious diarhhea and I hate the product.
Clinicallix gave no diarhhea and I endorse the product.
Clinicallix gave me mild diarrhea and a stomach ache. For the price, I wouldn’t buy it. Just eat well, exercise, and do the common sense stuff.
Clinicallix produced serious diarhhea I lost weight because of the runs, not the diet fat burner pill.
This product was ok as well, but it made me feel a little unsettled. I have stopped taking it and I am looking for something else.
The confidence that i got by using this product where it is available from most stores cured my obesity problem.
I am very comfortable by using this product where the details about this product suggested me to purchase this product. A very good product.
